Story
Yes it is me, Andrew Murphy Raptor 13.
I left the NSW Police in 2021 after 23 years of service, many people know who I am and that even after service I back the Thin Blue Line without question. Behind the Thin Blue line there are families that support the men and women of the police around Australia and without them the line would buckle and collapse. Our families are there for us, to support us, to pick us up and we owe it to our fallen to support theirs. This is why I am running every day through the month of May.
My aim is to run a minimum of 5km's every day, as a minimum. Not on a tread mill but outside rain, hail or shine I will run! I have also decided as of the 1st of May to stop eating chocolate, every day that I do not eat chocolate I will donate $12 of my own money!
I'm all about preserving the positive culture of policing and part of that is supporting the families of our fallen, you don't have to dig deep.

NSW Police Legacy
NSW Police Legacy is the NSW Police Force Charity. Established in 1987 it was initially founded to support the bereaved families following the loss of their loved one. Now, our support extends to include police officers and their families experiencing challenging times in their lives. Our police family has grown to include not only families suffering from loss and grief, but those experiencing misfortune that require extra support. Our commitment is to build on the care and support of serving and retired police officers and their families during times of tragedy and need with financial assistance, emotional support and networking opportunities so they are never forgotten. http://www.policelegacynsw.org.au/
